Authorities’ Firearms Proficiency examination in accordance with §7 WaffG (German Weapons Law)
The ISN International Security Network GmbH weapons knowledge course is officially accredited, in accordance with § 3 (2) AWaffV (General Weapons Ordinance), and valid for the purview of the WaffG (German Weapons Law). During our course you get the theoretic knowledge and the practical preparation to subsequently take the written, oral and practical examination in accordance with § 7 WaffG (Weapons Law).
Contents of the 4-day-training course:
- The most important legal regulations about the handling of weapons and ammunition under consideration of the current Weapons Law in Germany (WaffG)
- The necessary knowledge about the right of self-defense and the state of necessity (§§ 32, 33, 34, 35 StGB [Criminal Code])
- The ranges and effects of ammunition
- The handling of and the dealing with firearms and ammunition
- Practical shooting training
- Authorities’ Firearms Proficiency Examination in accordance with § 7 WaffG (German Weapons Law) before the board of examiners
- Please note: the trainees have to master the German language in order to participate in the course
Shooting-range, weapons and ammunition for the shooting exercises are provided by ISN International Security Network GmbH. The course costs include: the teaching material, the rental charge for the shooting-range, the weapons, the ammunition and the examination fee.

Please note: The course starts at 0900 hrs. and ends at app. 1700 hrs. In case of a long-distance journey, we recommend you spend the night(s) at the Baden Airpark B&B Hotel. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the teaching facilities. The course takes place as from 5 persons enrolled, and is limited to 10 persons.
