In this intensive one-day course, participants will learn the essential fundamentals of safe firearm handling and effective shooting techniques. Based on the principles of the Modern Isosceles Stance, this training offers stability and precision. The course focuses on safely drawing the weapon, loading techniques, malfunction clearing, and shooting from various positions—including one-handed firing for emergency scenarios.

All skills are reinforced through progressive shooting drills, enabling participants to sustainably build their confidence and accuracy with handguns. This course is ideal for beginners looking to elevate their pistol handling skills.

Requirements

  • Clean criminal record
  • Basic knowledge and general fitness advantageous, but not required
  • Firearms proficiency certificate (§7 WaffG)

  • Minimum 3 magazines and magazine pouches
  • ~250 rounds of ammunition
  • Training/tactical clothing (no camouflage)
  • Sturdy belt
  • Eye and hearing protection

Training Objective

This one-day course teaches participants the core skills for safe, accurate handgun operation using realistic drills and the Modern Isosceles shooting stance. Trainees will develop the ability to shoot confidently from multiple positions with precision and speed.
