Level B (Advanced)

This advanced course builds on “Close Protection Training – Level A” and introduces advanced and tactical topics essential for real-world executive protection. The focus lies on planning and executing protective operations and appropriately responding to high-risk scenarios such as abductions, assaults, and ambushes. Team coordination is emphasized throughout.

Experienced professionals who have completed Level A and have operational protection experience.

Training Objective

This program deepens participants’ tactical understanding of executive protection. It includes planning and executing protective measures in high-threat environments and developing high-level team coordination in VIP protection settings.

  • Advanced IED detection, room/vehicle/office searches
  • TSCM introduction: counter-surveillance technology
  • Preparedness and execution under high-threat conditions
  • Tactical response to kidnapping, assaults, ambushes
  • Advanced defensive driving
  • Dynamic evacuation drills with team support
  • Complex team-based protection simulations
  • Advanced firearms training (team/solo shooting, decision drills with legal and medical context)

  • Close Protection-specific self-defense

Yes. However, please be aware that an important part of the training involves safely transporting and driving with a principal under realistic day-to-day operational conditions.

We strongly recommend that anyone working in close protection hold a valid passenger vehicle driver’s license.

No. Completion of Level A is mandatory before participating in Level B. This requirement also applies to applicants with many years of professional close protection experience.

To Course Description

Some training scenarios may take place in public environments. Please carry €20 in cash to cover incidental expenses such as purchasing a beverage or similar items during a scenario.

These expenses will not be reimbursed.
