According to §7 of the German Weapons Act

In many sectors of the security industry, carrying firearms is essential, and a state-recognized firearms proficiency certificate in accordance with §7 of the Weapons Act is mandatory. Our five-day, state-accredited training prepares you thoroughly and practically for this important qualification.

This training opens doors to demanding roles such as cash and valuables transport, executive protection, and the protection of critical infrastructure. It is also essential for sport shooters and gun collectors who want to obtain a firearms license or carry permit.

Training Objective

By combining extensive theoretical knowledge with practical weapons handling exercises, you’ll acquire the skills required for the safe and lawful use of firearms. The goal is to pass the firearms proficiency exam under §7 of the Weapons Act and receive a state-recognized certificate valid throughout Germany.

Course Content

  • Firearms law: storage, acquisition, transportation, prohibited items, act of self-defense, act of necessity, and defence of another person
  • Weapon types: handguns, characteristics, modifications, proof marks, certification
  • Ammunition: types, markings, acquisition, transportation, CIP certification
  • Practical training: handling firearms, safe operation, weapon mechanisms, shooting range behavior, pistol shooting (9mm), revolver (.38 cal)
